The Gemini Augmented Target Docking Adapter, which will be the rendezvous and docking vehicle on the Gemini-9A spaceflight, undergoes a preflight checkout in the Kennedy Space Center's Cryogenic Building. The ATDA is being used because the Agena Target Vehicle failed to achieve orbit on May 17, causing the postponement of the Gemini-9 mission. The spaceflight (called Gemini-9A) has been rescheduled for May 31.
