Workers release the Centaur stage of the United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket for NASA's Magnetospheric Multiscale mission (MMS) from the crane used to position it over the rocket's first stage in the Vertical Integration Facility at Space Launch Complex 41 on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. Operations are underway to mate the Centaur stage to the Atlas first stage in preparation for launch on March 12. To learn more about MMS, visit www.nasa.gov/mms.
