As the sun rises over Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, the Centaur stage of the United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket for NASA's Magnetospheric Multiscale mission (MMS) is on its way from the Atlas Spaceflight Operations Center (ASOC) to Space Launch Complex 41. Preparations are underway to mate the Centaur stage to the Atlas first stage already in place at the pad. Launch is set for March 12. To learn more about MMS, visit www.nasa.gov/mms.
