Brand, commander, holds down the commander's station at left, while astronaut Robert F. Overmyer, pilot, points to data on one of three cathode ray tubes (CRT) on the forward flight deck. The photograph was made by astronaut Joseph P. Allen IV, one of two mission specialists on the flight. Not pictured are Dr. Allen and astronaut William B. Lenoir, the other mission specialist for this flight.
