As STS-43 Mission Specialist (MS) G. David Low, wearing headband and headset, exercises on the treadmill on Atlantis', Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 104's, middeck, vibration measurements are being recorded with the aid of the Space Acceleration Measurement System (SAMS). Detailed Test Objective (DTO) 652, Vibration Recordings on the Shuttle Treadmill Using an Accelerometer, will collect data to determine the vibrational impact of the shuttle treadmill on material research experiments.
