Various views taken of transfer from the Animal Enclosure Module (AEM) located in a locker on the Columbia's middeck. Mission specialist Kathryn Hire stands on the General Purpose transfer unit (GPTU) while payload commander Richard Linnehan holds the unit and mission specialist Dafydd Rhys Williams works with the test animals. There was a problem with plastic straps used to hold the unit closed that recquired three crewmembers to help load and close the transfer units.
