On Launch Complex 37 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, the GOES-N spacecraft is ready to be lifted into the launch service tower where it will be mated with the waiting Boeing Delta IV. Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites (GOES) are sponsored by NASAs Goddard Space Flight Center and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
