Sitting atop a transporter, the encapsulated GOES-N spacecraft arrives at Launch Complex 37 on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The spacecraft will be lifted up into the launch service tower and mated with the waiting Boeing Delta IV. Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites (GOES) are sponsored by NASAs Goddard Space Flight Center and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Launch of GOES-N is scheduled for June 23.
