The United States flag, in front of the Johnson Space Center's (JSC) project management building, flies at half-mast in memory of the seven space shuttle Challenger crew members who lost their lives on Jan. 28, 1986. Earlier today, memorial services about 100 yards from the flag drew thousands of JSC employees, friends and family of the STS-51L astronauts and payload specialists.
