A pair of adult ospreys watch over one of their babies in the family’s nest, built atop a sign near the News Center at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The News Center borders the water of the Launch Complex 39 turn basin, making it an ideal source of food for the osprey. The undeveloped property on Kennedy Space Center is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service through the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
