Searchlights illuminate the Apollo 16 Saturn V space vehicle during the ""wet"" or fueled portion of the Countdown Demonstration Test. The week long test was conducted to verify the vehicle and ground support equipment for launch day. Scheduled for April 16, 1972, when astronauts John W. Young, Thomas K. Mattingly II and Charles M.
