NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe gives the keynote address to kick off the 40th Space Congress, held annually in Cape Canaveral, Fla. Held April 28-May 1, 2003, the event commemorated the 40th anniversary of the Kennedy Space Center and the Centennial of Flight. The theme for the Space Congress was "Linking the Past to the Future: A Celebration of Space." The international conference gathers attendees from the scientific community, the space industry workforce, educators and local supporting industries.
