Retired Navy Admiral Harold W. Gehman Jr., chairman of the Columbia Accident Investigation Board, addresses the press at the Shuttle Landing Facility before departing KSC. Gehman and other members of the board visited sites at KSC to become familiar with Shuttle processing procedures.
