NASA astronaut and Expedition 64 Flight Engineer Shannon Walker sets up Packed Bed Reactor Experiment (PBRE) hardware components inside the Destiny laboratory module's Microgravity Science Glovebox. The PBRE study explores how liquids and gases behave together in microgravity which may enable the design of more efficient, lightweight thermal management and life support systems that use less energy on future space exploration missions.
