At the Cosmonaut Hotel crew quarters in Baikonur, Kazakhstan, Expedition 50-51 crewmember Oleg Novitskiy of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) waters a tree bearing his name Nov. 10 as part of traditional ceremonies. Novitskiy, Peggy Whitson of NASA and Thomas Pesquet of the European Space Agency will launch Nov. 18, Baikonur time, on the Soyuz MS-03 spacecraft for a six-month mission on the International Space Station.
