The launch pads at the Centre Spatial Guyanais where ESA, CNES and Arianespace launch rockets into space. It is not easy to spot between the clouds! Tonight is the first Ariane-5 rocket launch for 2017: best of luck! I won't be able to see this one from the Space Station, but I hope to photograph a rocket launch from space before I return!

Les pas de tir du Centre spatial guyanais de l’ESA et du CNES (entre autres !), d’où de nombreux satellites sont envoyés en orbite. Arianespace s’apprête justement à lancer ce soir sa première fusée Ariane-5 de l’année. La Station ne survolera pas la région à l’heure H, mais j’espère bien voir un lancement depuis l’espace d’ici à mon retour !
